Qualifications (Head Cook / Assistant Cook): Good cooking experience and ability to use LPG. Qualifications (Chowkidar-cum-Sweeper): Must have passed HSC Examination (10th Pass). Essential qualifications: The preference shall be given to the local candidate preferably from the block area, then adjacent block, then the district. Desirable: For cooks, being trained in cookery is preferred and given weightage. For Warden, at least 2 years experience in hostel management is preferred. Experience: Minimum 2 years in hostel management for Warden (desirable), and cooking experience for cook roles. Salary/Stipend Remuneration is a fixed monthly amount, including the EPF share of both employee and employer.School job postings Warden: Rs. 21,175/- per month. Head Cook: Rs. 9,000/- per month. Assistant Cook: Rs. 6,750/- per month. Chowkidar-cum-Sweeper: Rs. 7,500/- per month. Age Limit (as on 05-12-2025) Age is calculated as on the date of advertisement. Warden: 30 to 60 Years. Head Cook: 30 to 40 years. Assistant Cook: 21 to 32 years. Chowkidar-cum-Sweeper: 21 to 32 years. Retired teachers within 62 years of age may also be engaged as Warden Selection Process The process involves screening applications based on qualifications and supporting documents. For cook positions, a physical cooking test of some items will be conducted by a committee to evaluate deliciousness, cooking time, and hygiene. Selection seems to be based on the evaluation/interview process by a district committee as per Govt guidelines. General Information/Instructions All posts are purely temporary and contractual. Warden, Head Cook, and Assistant Cooks must stay in the hostel 24x7. Local applicants are given priority. Incomplete applications or applications received after the final date will not be considered.
