| Description | Job description 5-10 years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, or Analytics Technical Skills Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake Data Warehouse Snowflake architecture, virtual warehouses, micro-partitioning Data sharing, cloning, and performance optimization Advanced proficiency in SQL o Complex query writing, stored procedures, query optimization Experience with ETL/ELT tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, dbt, Azure Data Factory, etc.) Strong understanding of data modeling techniques (Star/Snowflake schema, dimensional modeling) Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Familiarity with data pipeline orchestration tools (Airflow, Prefect, etc.) Knowledge of Python or scripting languages is an added advantage Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance practices Soft Skills & Other Requirements Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience in stakeholder communication and requirement gathering Ability to lead small teams and mentor junior engineers Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Roles & Responsibilities Technical Leadership : Lead the design, development, and optimization of Snowflake-based data solutions Drive best practices for SQL development, query tuning, and database performance Architect and implement scalable data pipelines and data models Development & Delivery Develop and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines for data ingestion and transformation Ensure high-quality, reliable, and efficient data processing workflows Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Data Science, BI, Product) to deliver data solutions Data Management & Optimization Optimize Snowflake usage for cost and performance efficiency Implement data partitioning, clustering, and workload management strategies Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across systems Team & Stakeholder Management Mentor and guide junior engineers and support their technical growth Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into data solutions Provide technical inputs in planning, estimation, and project execution Governance & Compliance Enforce data governance standards, security policies, and access controls Ensure adherence to organizational and regulatory data policies Continuous Improvement Stay updated with latest advancements in Snowflake, SQL, and cloud data technologies Identify opportunities to improve system performance, scalability, and efficiency Location - Pune, Chennai , Mumbai , Bangalore |
